Writing this as the Blaseball Season 20 election results come in. I am trying not to look at them before getting done, I hope my team gets a blessing for once. (And then due to outside circumstances I DID look before finishing it. We did get a blessing, but due to a wills wimdy and shenanigans it's useless to us. I actually kinda love this. Pase lo que pase.)
I changed my week back to monday to friday because I generally am working for six hours on that day and having an actual weekend is nice. I was planning for Art, Anki, Gardening, Immersion, Music Making, but the last two didn't happen between all the work I had to do and some internet outages I experienced and a day where I wasn't well.
I say it often enough but, I continue to be amazed that this has lasted so long and I'm starting to wonder if this is getting into the realm of being habit for me. Like, will I continue this every year?
Oh, next week I am getting my first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on wednesday, so I am assuming that I'm just going to have maybe one or two days of "school" and am taking the second half of the week off.
I'll start promoting the things I listen to at work and when doing classes like art where I don't have to focus on words so much. And this week is:
TheyThemTheirs, A Monthly Nonbinary Discussion Podcast. I am Nonbinary myself (though I actually prefer Genderqueer) and this podcast is a lot of fun, even if it's not the most focused. It updates monthly and doesn't have that many episodes so far, but they go up to two hours and so make for a decent amount of listening.
I'm trying to not use the Podbean app itself anymore, I have a lot of eps of other podcasts downloaded to it, but I found that the app Musicolet is much better for listening to podcasts, but podbean downloads the episodes in a way that makes it a pain to listen to outside the app itself. I've found that, also, the podbean website doesn't really work on smartphone firefox even when I ask it to show the desktop version (and since it works FINE on my actual laptop I suspect this is deliberate to force people to use the app). Since a lot of the podcasts I listen to are easiest to find on podbean itself, I'm thinking that I'll just wind up downloading those ones on my laptop and transferring them every so often. 10 episodes of each podcast seems like a good one to aim for, so I have a variety to choose from when I am out of signal
For ones that are also hosted on their own sites, at least I can download them directly on mobile.
