This week was better, but with all my work and things such as trying to get my car booked into the garage for fixing, and needing to rest when I could because it's been getting hot here, I found it really difficult to do my classes. As such, I wound up only doing Art, Anki and Gardening.
By now, in my normal school year, it would be the summer holidays, and something else came up. The Sunshine Challenge. It's a fandom based challenge, and I had a lot of fun with it last year, and only just got ideas on how to start it this year. Last year, I wrote a retelling of Cinderella in which Cinderella wishes to burn down the house belonging to her stepmother, and sets out to live her own life.
And in thinking about this, I think I might have hit on the solution to what will happen about NaNoWriMo as well. I now plan to devote my "schooling hours" mostly to art for the Sunshine Challenge, rather than having five different classes throughout the day for the week. I'll probably wind up finishing a few podcasts off doing this.
And this week's thing I listen to is This Podcast Will Kill You, which discusses various diseases, their evolutionary biology, their effects on society and, often, how people's greed got in the way of the diseases being treated.
See ya next week!
